What made you think of ReACT?
"I saw a demonstration around four years ago and I was very impressed. I was unable to progress the purchase of the application at that time as the Council that I was employed by were going through the stock transfer process. I joined Stevenage Homes in May 2010 and I could see that ReACT would be an asset to us as it would ensure correct reporting, reduce paper information, reduce the preparation time on reports and improve customer service. React also gives management better control as it will flag up when the next action is due to the officer dealing with the case and to their line manager. Standard letters can be set up on the system, which ensures a consistent house style."
What difference has it made to your organisation?
"Production of reports is much easier. Our customer service has improved, as any one of the trained users can look at a case and assist callers without the need for the dealing officer to call them back. Targets for actions are being kept due to reminders being sent; these can also be redirected if someone is off on leave. We also like the fact that file notes can be printed off the system, if required, and hot spotting is easy to identify through reports. Users are pleased with the application and find it easy to use, when accessed regularly"
What would you say to others, considering ReACT?
"Make a wish list of what you would like an ASB database to be able to do for your organisation and then have a demonstration of ReACT; you will see how close the system comes to you wish list requirements.
Ensure that you have a project team who can dedicate time to the configuration of the system. We wanted to set the system up as an “idiots guide” to dealing with a case, this will take time to do, but long term is well worth the effort."
And overall?
"Support is excellent and the ReAct Team are all very willing to assist in anyway that they can. If there is anything that the system does not currently do, they are willing to look at suggestions to be implemented into version updates. Very happy with the service that has been provided, from arranging the demonstrated to going live."
